Delete your data
SlideQuest has no account of its own, so there is nothing for us to close. Your progress lives on your phone and in your Google Play Games account, and you can remove both yourself. For the crash reports and beta feedback the game sent us, email us and we will delete them.
This page covers the SlideQuest Android game (app.dxnstudio.slidequest), published by DXN Studio.
Remove what is on your phone
Your saves and settings are stored only on your device. To delete them, do either of these:
- Uninstall SlideQuest.
- Or open your phone's Settings, then Apps, SlideQuest, Storage, and tap Clear storage.
Delete your Play Games saves and achievements
Your cloud save and achievement progress are stored by Google as Play Games saved games and achievements. We do not hold them and cannot delete them. Delete them yourself through the settings in the Play Games app, or through your Google account's data controls. Uninstalling SlideQuest does not remove them. See Google's privacy policy.
Reset your advertising ID
The ads in SlideQuest come from Google AdMob, which holds what its ads software collects (see the privacy policy). We do not hold it and cannot delete it. To break the link to the identifier it used, open your phone's Settings, then Privacy (or Security and privacy), Ads, and reset or delete your advertising ID. Google's controls are described in Google's privacy policy. Once Google Play confirms you own Ads off, the ads software no longer starts from the next launch.
Your Ads off purchase
The purchase is held by Google Play with your Google account. We can see an order record for Ads off in Google Play Console (product, date, country and order state, never payment details), which is Google's record, so we cannot delete it. Uninstalling the game does not cancel it, and reinstalling or using a new phone restores it. For a refund, use Google Play's refund options.
Ask us to delete what we received
Email [email protected] with the subject Delete my SlideQuest data. Because nothing we receive is linked to your name or email address, please include:
- your device model (for example, Pixel 8);
- roughly when the game crashed or when you sent feedback;
- for feedback, a few words of what you wrote, if you remember them.
We delete what matches and reply to confirm, within 30 days at most.
What is deleted
- Crash reports from your device held by Sentry, our crash reporting service.
- Anonymous stats held by PostHog, if you tell us roughly when you played and your device model. You can also switch them off in Settings, then Anonymous stats.
- Feedback you sent from a testing build, including its screenshot, held in our Supabase project.
What is kept
- Nothing else about you is held by us. Play Games saves and achievements are held by Google, not us. Crash reports we cannot match to your request are deleted automatically after 90 days anyway.
- Ad data held by Google AdMob, and purchase and order records held by Google Play are Google's, not ours. Records Google Play keeps about your installs are covered by Google's own privacy policy.
More detail on what the game collects is in the privacy policy.
